As of 4.30.18, we are retiring the Nike+ FuelBand, Nike+ SportWatch, and additional older technologies. Find out what this means for your NikePlus data and download the NRC and NTC apps to continue to track your progress.
If you are experiencing clasp or link issues with your Nike+ FuelBand or FuelBand SE, identify which scenario applies to your device and see the instructions below:
The clasp will not attach to the band
With a small Phillips-head screwdriver, attempt the following steps:
The link will not attach to the band
*Don't have a small Phillips-head screwdriver? Try attaching the clasp to the other link you should have received with your FuelBand or FuelBand SE.
If all the components attach to the band, the issue is with the original link you attempted to use. Please contact us so we can send you a replacement.
The clasp will not attach to the link
You should have received two links with your FuelBand or FuelBand SE. Try attaching the clasp to the other link.
If the clasp attaches to the other link, there is an issue with the original link you attempted to use. Please contact us so we can send you a replacement.
If the clasp does not attach to the other link, we will likely need to send you a replacement clasp. Please contact us.
Important: Do NOT attempt to turn the screw on the link. These screws are epoxied in place.
The link will not detach from the band
If you haven't already done so, please use the sizing tool that came with your device (a paperclip will work, too) to try to release the link. Insert the pin into the hole and press until the link releases. If you are unable to remove the link from your FuelBand by using the sizing tool, please contact us.
Note: Please avoid stretching your FuelBand excessively to plug it into a USB port.
